What should you wear when you are skydiving?

Any comfortable clothing is acceptable to wear while skydiving. Loose-fitting clothing is generally more comfortable, but regardless of what clothing is worn, skydiving companies usually provide full-body jumpsuits that cover it all.

Because of the rate of free fall and the immense amount of drag produced while skydiving, shoes should be tight and comfortable. Sandals, flip-flops and boots with hook laces are generally not permitted. Jewelry and watches should not be worn either, as these can be dangerous while diving. Eyeglasses and contacts can be worn but must be covered with a pair of safety goggles, usually provided by the skydiving instructor.
