Shriners Hospital for Children is located at 51 Blossom Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Shriners is considered one of the world’s top hospitals in pediatric surgical care, including severe burn injuries, complex skin conditions, orthopaedic conditions, and cleft lip and palate.

Shriners started out in March of 1964 as a five-bed unit located on an interim basis at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Today, it is a 30-bed pediatric specialty hospital, research and teaching center. Shriners is a world leader in burn care and the only exclusively pediatric burn center in New England, as of September 2015. Shriners prides itself on its family-centered approach that provides resources and programs designed to assist and support the whole family during a child's treatment.
