How do you shrink a cotton sweater?

To shrink a cotton sweater, first wash the sweater in the washing machine with hot water. After washing, put the sweater in the dryer on the highest heat setting. The combination of heat from both washing and drying causes the sweater to shrink very quickly.

1. Wash the sweater

   Place your cotton sweater in the washing machine, and select the hot water setting.

2. Dry the sweater

   After washing in hot water, place the sweater directly into the dryer on a high setting.

3. Check on the sweater

   Throughout the drying process, check the size of the sweater. When it is the desired size, remove the sweater from the dryer, and allow it to air dry the rest of the way.
