What are some silent auction rules?
By Forinfos - 26/02/2026 - 0 comments
Some general silent auction rules include: all sales made at the auction are final, bidders must pay on site and on the day of the auction, and bidders are responsible for picking up items. It is important that the rules are written out and made available to all potential bidders.
A lawyer should look over the written rules and any recommendations should be added. Exceptions to the rules can be made if the bidder and the auction planners come to an agreement. For example, special arrangements should be made for special items that may be impossible to pick up on the day of the auction.
