What are silent auction bid sheets?
By Forinfos - 08/07/2025 - 0 comments
A bid sheet is a piece of paper placed in front of a silent auction item on which guests write their bids. Each silent auction item has its own bid sheet. Each sheet usually includes the item number, item name, description, bidding information, and lines for bidder names and amounts.
Silent auction bidding sheets usually specify the minimum bid increase increments. Some auctioneers pre-fill the bids on each row so bidders cannot ignore the increments. When an auction guest wants to bid on an item, she writes her name or bidder ID number and the amount of her bid on the next line of the bidding sheet. The last person to write her name on the bidding sheet with the highest bid wins the item.
