What is the size of a standard pillow?

A standard pillow measures 20" X 26" and uses a standard pillowcase as a cover. A twin-size bed usually requires one standard size pillow while a full-size and queen-size bed each typically require two. A king-size bed, however, usually requires three standard pillows.

A jumbo size pillow has a size of 20" X 28" while a queen size pillow extends to 20" X 30". Both pillows use a standard pillowcase. Currently, no queen-size pillowcase exists. The king-size pillow measures 20" X 36" and uses a king-size pillowcase. It provides added comfort with its length and accommodates the wideness of a king size mattress.
