Is there a snipping tool for Mac?

The Grab utility, included with the Macintosh operating system, allows users to capture all or part of the screen and save the image, similar to the Windows snipping tool. The application is located in the Utilities folder, which is inside the Applications folder.

Grab gives users the option to capture an image of their entire screen, the contents of a window or a manual selection. Once captured, users can only save the image as a TIFF file. However, users can also use the Preview utility, located in the Applications folder, to view the image files and convert them to other formats.
