How does a Snore Guard work?
By Forinfos - 03/10/2025 - 0 comments
A Snore Guard works by bringing the jaw forward to widen the airway, according to the American Sleep Association. This prevents soft tissues in the back of the throat from pressing other throat parts and causing snoring.
A user's tongue fits through an opening between the upper and lower part of the Snore Guard, which further helps keep the airway open. The structure conforms to a user's upper dental arch, and the ramp it creates behind the lower anteriors is what prohibits the jaw from receding, states the American Sleep Association. The device also promotes nasal breathing to lessen the snoring problem.
