What is the snowiest place on Earth?

The snowiest place on earth is Paradise Ranger Station on Mount Rainier in Washington state. A combination of mountain elevation and Pacific Northwest moisture mean that this location gets an average of 643 inches, or nearly 54 feet, of snow each year.
Paradise Ranger Station is located inside Mount Rainier National Park. The park is open throughout the winter months, though only one road into the area is plowed. The weather in the low-lying areas surrounding Mount Rainier is often relatively temperate. It is only on top of the mountain itself that large quantities of rain and snow regularly fall due to its high elevation.
