How does a Snugtop camper shell work?

The Snugtop camper shell proprietary mounting system utilizes aluminum clamps to secure the shell to a pickup truck without the need to drill mounting holes into the truck itself. This feature also makes it easier to install and remove the camper shell as compared to similar products.

The mounting system used with Snugtop camper shells allows the shell to be mounted or removed in approximately 30 minutes with only a few tools. However, Snugtop recommends that at least four people be present to help move the shell itself. Camper shells are sufficiently large and heavy that a single person is unlikely to be able to remove or mount one safely without assistance.
