The Cape Charles Wave was an online newspaper that was active from July 2012 to July 2015. It catered to the town of Cape Charles, Virginia.

Focusing on keeping up to date with current, relevant news, the Cape Charles Wave was unafraid of uncovering the truth behind deals done regarding the town. Taking on leaders the paper deemed irresponsible or corrupt, they gained a following but also a few enemies.

The Cape Charles Wave vied to become a print publication in the town. However, backlash from business owners and politicians caused advertisers to pull out. Eventually, after the politics surrounding the town hadn't changed for the better, the Cape Charles Wave decided to end publication.
