When is spring break?

Spring break typically occurs in early spring during the months of March and April in schools and colleges across the world. The timing during which it takes place and the number of days it lasts differ, depending on the school or college and also the country or region.

In the United States, spring break occurs during the months of March and April and is usually one week long; however some schools follow a different schedule that includes a two-week break. The states of Massachusetts and Maine are an exception, as the schools there schedule the spring break to occur during the week that includes the third Monday in the month of April.
