When was St. Anne canonized?

St. Anne Line was canonized in 1970 by Pope John Paul II. She was in a group of 40 martyrs from England canonized at the same time, and her feast day is October 25.

St. Anne was the daughter of William Heigham, a Calvinist. She converted to Roman Catholicism, and was promptly disowned by her father. Catholicism at that time was illegal in England. During her life, she helped aid priests who were being hunted down and arrested by priest-catchers. St. Anne was arrested during a raid in 1601 and sentenced to death for harboring a priest. She was executed on February 27, 1601, along with two priests, Roger Filcock and Mark Barkworth.
