What is the best stainless steel cleaner?

Good Housekeeping conducted a review of stainless steel cleaners on the market as of 2015, and concluded that two brands, Stainless Steel Magic Aerosol and Weiman Stainless Steel Spray, are the most effective. Both products are recommended because they remove dirt and grime without leaving residue behind.

Stainless Steel Magic Aerosol, the only aerosol cleaner to earn a top mark with Good Housekeeping, was noted for its easy application and resistance to fingerprints. The Weiman brand, as a top trigger spray, was slightly less simple to apply but featured the same fingerprint resistance. Both brands tend to darken the stainless steel surface after using the product, a disadvantage noted in the reviews.
