What is the Star Hot program for Starwood employees?

The StarHOT program offers discounted rooms to Starwood employees and employees of participating franchise hotels. The program is open to all full- or part-time employees once they become employed as of 2015. Employees can only use their discount for leisure travel, not business travel.

Starwood places a 14-night limit on the amount of time employees can use their benefit in a row. The program is contingent on whether the participating hotel has the space available. Immediate family members can also use the benefits provided to the employee through the StarHOT program. Employees are not allowed to accumulate any Starpoints or airline miles when using the program.
