Do states keep sales tax charts from previous years online?

Many states document and store sales tax charts that show the taxes due on different categories of purchases. Some of these categories include state taxes, local taxes, rural taxes and town taxes. Others pertain to highways, hospitals and towns, according to the Utah State Tax Commission.

Many states provide separate documentation of other taxes. These are any additional taxes specific to that state, such as transient room taxes, tourism restaurant taxes and E911 emergency telephone fees. A third type of chart combines the standard taxes with the additional taxes for easier viewing, as evidenced by the online charts posted by the Utah State Tax Commission.
