Is statistics a hard subject?

Although whether a subject is hard or not really depends on the student, Gerald E. Dallah, a Ph.D. at Tufts University, says that the subject is not particularly hard if the students can grasp basic concepts of the field. Some of these include taking into account that statistics can be philosophical and backwards and that just because a person doesn't find an effect doesn't mean there's no effect that exists.
Students who want to succeed in a statistics class should follow some basic tips. They should pay attention to what the professor says in class, read their textbooks carefully, focus on the fundamentals, persevere even when the work is hard and take some notes as they read and study.
