Stickers for graffiti are used in a form of street art wherein stickers are used to publicly display an image or a message. These have become the choice of some artists in place of or in addition to using the traditional paint.

Many sticker artists cite that what became the turning point of the sticker movement was the mainstreaming of the skateboard culture. It used to be that skateboarders only used stickers to decorate the bottom of their boards, but these stickers eventually began appearing on signposts as well. The designs of the stickers range from simple handwritten names of the artists to more detailed works.
