How do you stop dogs from eating poop?

Add pineapple, crushed pumpkin, sulfur or B-complex vitamins to make the taste of poop unattractive to dogs; these additives are known to improve digestion. Place an emetic agent on the poop so the dog can induce vomiting after consuming it. Products designed to prevent dogs from eating fecal matter should only be used for a short time. Take the animal to a veterinarian to rule out underlying medical issues.
