Is Straight Talk CDMA compatible?

Straight Talk is generally CDMA compatible, but it depends on the phone type and model. Straight Talk has a bring your own phone CDMA program that allows people to type in phone information to determine compatibility with their CDMA network.

A phone ID is required to check for compatibility. Straight Talk's website can check against a phone's MEI, MEID, MEID DEC or MEID HEX. These identification numbers can often be found under the phone battery. If compatible, a phone can be registered on the same day with Straight Talk. If the phone is not compatible, users receive a notification message that they cannot register.
