J-B Weld has a 3,960 PSI tensile strength. Once fully cured, it is rated for temperatures up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. J-B Weld retains its strength in temperatures as low as -67 degrees Fahrenheit and can work at temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit for a short amount of time.
It takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes for J-B Weld to soft set and 4 to 6 hours to fully set. It fully cures in 15 to 20 hours. To achieve a good bond and full strength, clean the material beforehand with something that does not leave a residue. Combine the two J-B Weld components at a one-to-one ratio.
