Custom Maid's 572 and 571 long leg panty girdles provide an alternative to the Playtex 18-Hour girdle. In the UK, Playtex has replaced the 18-Hour line with its Expert in Silhouette girdles.

The Playtex 18-Hour girdle was introduced in 1967. The girdles were made from a propriety rubber blend material known as Spanette. Since the line's discontinuation, girdles are no longer made from rubber.
