When is summer in Mexico?

Mexico shares the same summer as the United States, which includes the months of June, July and August. However, Mexico is close enough to the equator that temperatures remain fairly constant throughout the entire year, especially in the southern portions of the country.
While Mexico does not have a traditional four-season year, it does have a rainy season and a dry season. The dry season lasts from October to April and has little rainfall. The wet season lasts from April to October and has heavy rainfall. This trend is more profound in southern Mexico, where seasonal variations in temperature are minimal.
