What continent is Mexico on?

Mexico is located on the continent of North America in the Northern and Western Hemispheres. Mexico is located south of the United States and is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west and south.

Southeast Mexico borders the Central American nations of Belize and Guatemala. The Tropic of Cancer passes through Mexico. Mexico covers approximately 753,665 square miles divided among 31 states and the Federal District. North America is the world's third-largest of the seven continents and, in addition to Mexico, contains Canada, the United States, Greenland, the Central American nations and the Caribbean countries.
