What is the super snake?

The Shelby GT500 Super Snake is a sports car. It is manufactured by Shelby American, Inc. It comes in a coupe and a convertible model. The 2014 version of the Super Snake car is a Shelby GT500 Mustang with an extremely powerful engine and other cosmetic and performance modifications.

Shelby is a division of Ford, and it makes higher-performance variants of the Ford Mustang. Some of the high-performance Mustangs made by Shelby in the 1960s were called Cobras. In 1967, one extra-powerful Cobra was produced called the Super Snake that could hit 170 miles per hour. Starting in 2008, Shelby began offering modified versions of its regular GT500 that were also called Super Snakes.
