By Forinfos - 26/02/2025 - 0 comments

The surface area of a cube is comprised of the six squares that cover it. By definition, a cube is made of six squares, where all of the lines of the square are of equal length.

To find the area of a square you multiply the length of the line by itself, which is also known as squaring. The formula for finding the area of the square is represented as a*a or a². There are six sides to a square; therefore multiplying the area of one square by six results in the correct answer. The formula for this is represented as 6a².
