The Suzuki Burgman 400 is a scooter, not a motorcycle. The Burgman features a 400 cc liquid-cooled engine and comfortable well-padded, two-stepped seat.

The Burgman 400 scooter is meant for in-town use. The chassis feature many large storage areas, such as the luggage space which allows room for up to two full face helmets. The chassis holds up to 3.6 gallons of gas and features a high-tensile steel-tube frame.

The transmission on the Burgman is fully automatic. The suspension system uses telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear shock. It utilizes ABS brake technology that uses electrical sensors to monitor the scooters wheel speed and limits the stopping power to the available traction.
