What is Svetol used for?
By Forinfos - 26/04/2026 - 0 comments
Svetol is advertised as a weight loss aid based on green coffee bean extract. The manufacturer suggests that 400mg be taken daily for two months along with regular exercise to see a change in body composition.
Svetol consists of two different types of extract from unroasted green coffee beans. Green coffee bean extract is purported to accelerate the metabolism based on the results of several studies, but there is scientific controversy due to mixed results and questions about the legitimacy of some key studies. The FDA does not tightly regulate supplements of this nature, and advertising claims about supplement efficacy are often not required to meet any particular burden of proof.
