What is the symbol of Saint Catherine of Bologna?

Unlike some Roman Catholic saints, Catherine of Bologna does not have an official symbol ascribed to her. She is considered by some to be the patron saint of artists because of her experience painting as a child, and therefore can be associated with paintbrushes and easels.

After joining a convent in 1426, Catherine of Bologna spent the remainder of her life laboring piously. After she died in 1463, a number of people began to claim graveside miracles. Her body was found after 18 days, exhumed and found to be incorrupt, a status assumed by the Catholic Church to mean that she had become a saint.
