Symptoms of dehydration, such as dizziness and dry mouth, can also occur in sufferers who lose excess fluids from vomiting and diarrhea. Noroviruses are extremely contagious and spread easily via contact with infected individuals or by eating contaminated food or drinking contaminated water. Touching contaminated surfaces can also transmit norovirus germs.
