What are the symptoms of a plantar fascia tear?
By Forinfos - 29/08/2025 - 0 comments
Symptoms of plantar fasciitis include heel pain after long periods of sitting or lying down; pain increasing as the day progresses; and pain when climbing stairs, standing excessively or exercising, according to WebMD. People who experience these symptoms should see a doctor to rule out arthritis or tarsal tunnel syndrome.
Though it is a common condition for people of all ages who are especially active on their feet, plantar fasciitis could result in serious pain or long-term damage. WebMD reports that the onset of plantar fasciitis is typically a gradual process, especially a fascia tear. If left untreated, tears or strains could result in permanent ligament damage.
