What is a table shower?

A table shower is a service offered by some massage parlors, in which the customer lays on a plastic-sealed padded table that is equipped with an overhead shower head. The customer wears a towel over his private areas, and this massage normally occurs in a private back room.

The overhead shower head provides a cascading or massaging effect to the customer as he lays on the table. Some parlors have a removable shower head, which the worker uses to provide a more customized massage. In addition, the customer is usually scrubbed from head to toe with an exfoliation sponge and sometimes with a body wash product. Table showers last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
