The team at Green Lifestyle Changes has said that with a 10-minute shower alone, people use about 80 gallons of water and create four pounds of CO2 emissions. By purchasing a low-flow shower head and decreasing shower time to five minutes, thousands of gallons of water are saved annually along with hundreds of pounds of CO2 emissions.

Another way to save time in the shower, as well as water and energy, is to wash hair less often, the Green Lifestyle Changes team says.
