What does "tatuaje" mean?

"Tatuaje" is a tattoo (or the act of tattooing) in Spanish. Tatuaje is also both the company name of a cigar manufacturer and the brand name of their product.

The Tatuaje cigar brand is owned by Tatuaje Cigars, Inc. It is based out of Florida and Nicaragua. As an avid tattoo enthusiast, founder Pete Johnson chose this name for his company. Among speakers of Spanish, the original English word "tattoo" is sometimes used instead of "tatuaje." A literal translation for "tattoo artist" from English to Spanish would be "artista del tatuaje," but the terms "tatuador" and "tatuadora" are also used.
