The form that includes estimated tax payment is Form 1040-ES, according to the Internal Service Revenue. An estimated tax payment is a method of paying tax on income that does not deduct withholding tax, such as dividends, interest, income from self-employment and rent.

Form 1040-ES has an estimated tax worksheet that helps individuals calculate federal estimated tax payments, explains Yale University. The tax is calculated by estimating adjusted gross income, taxable income and taxes for the year. The IRS requires all U.S citizens and resident aliens to make the estimated tax payments, including residents of Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
