What is an iPhone?

An iPhone is a smartphone device produced by Apple Inc. The latest version of the iPhone, as of April 2015, comes in two versions, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Apple iPhone devices run on Apple's proprietary iOS mobile operating system.

The iPhone 6 has a Retina HD display with a camera capable of capturing slow motion videos at up to 240 frames per second. It runs iOS 8 and features an A8 processor, 1 gigabyte of RAM and up to 128 gigabytes of internal storage. The iPhone 6 costs between $200 and $800, as of April 2015, depending on whether it is purchased with or without a service contract.
