Teddy bear rescue puppies are small designer dogs that have features that resemble stuffed teddy bears. These dogs are a hybrid breed known as Zuchon. Rescue puppies are puppies rescued from animal shelters.
The hybrid breed known as Zuchon is a mix of Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu breeds. However, not all major dog breed registries recognize the breed. These small dogs typically grow to be about 9 to 12 inches tall and weigh 8 to 25 pounds when fully grown. Known for their longevity, teddy bear puppies have an average lifespan of around 12 to 15 years of age.
