Do termites carry diseases?

Termites do not carry diseases. The problem with termites is that they are very destructive, commonly eating timber, as well as fabric, mats, paper and a variety of other materials. Termite colonies consist of three groups: swarmers, soldiers and workers.
Although termites aren't an immediate threat to humans, they have the capacity to cause vast damage to wooden structures of a house. In addition to eating, they also burrow into wood to create their shelter. Termite colonies have voracious appetites, often consuming their food sources continually through all hours of the day and night, without ceasing. The best way to control termites is by contacting trained pest controllers.
