How do Texas residents find out what voting precinct they're in?

The voting precinct for Texas voters is located on each resident's voter registration certificate. If a resident has misplaced his voting certificate or does not have one, he can determine his precinct by contacting his County Elections Office.

A Texas resident is assigned a voting precinct based on the address he lists when registering to vote. In most cases, a resident can only vote at his assigned precinct. A voter who participate in early voting, however, may use any location open for early voting regardless of his assigned precinct. Early voting locations are often published in local newspapers or on public county websites.
