Is the Thai movie industry free from government censorship?

The Thai movie industry is not free from government censorship, as of 2015. All broadcasters and theater owners have to submit all films they intend to play for review to the Film Censorship Board.
The Film Censorship Board is an agency of the Ministry of Culture in Thailand, and some of the topics they review include films mentioning prostitution, films about Buddhism that do not depict the religion with absolute reverence and films that do not respect Thai monarchy. Films banned in Thailand include "Schindler's List" and "Anna and the King." Some films are not banned altogether, but edited instead. An example would be "The Da Vinci Code," which was heavily edited and had the last 10 minutes cut.
