The three primary colors of light are blue, green and red. As primary colors, these three colors can combine to create all other colors visible to the human eye.
The set of primary colors of light is also referred to as the additive set of primary colors. It may also be called the RGB color set. When all three colors are mixed together in equal amounts, the resulting light is white. Red and green combine to produce browns, yellows and oranges, while red and blue produces purples. The other set of primary colors, known as the subtractive set, is used in dyes and other mediums and contains cyan, magenta and yellow.
