What are the primary colors on a color wheel?
By Forinfos - 18/09/2025 - 0 comments
On the standard color wheel, there are three primary colors: red, blue and yellow. The primary colors are those that cannot be created by mixing other colors and that are themselves used in the creation of other colors.
Following the primary colors are secondary and tertiary colors. Secondary colors, including green, orange and purple, are the direct product of mixing the primary colors. Tertiary colors, including red-orange, red-purple, yellow-orange, blue-purple, blue-green and yellow-green, result from mixing a primary and a secondary color. The color wheel itself serves as a tool for the creation of new colors according to these categories.
