What is the time zone of Ontario, Canada?

Ontario, Canada is in the Eastern and Central time zones. Eastern and Central Standard time occurs during some of the fall and most of the winter. Eastern and Central Daylight time occurs the rest of the year.

The eastern part of the province is on Eastern Standard/ Eastern Daylight time. Three communities in the western part of Ontario, Atikokan, New Osnaburgh and Pickle Lake, use Central Standard time all year long, but most of the area west of 90-West are on Central Standard/ Central Daylight time consistent to the time of year. The Eastern and Central time zones reflect the same time the Eastern and Central time zones do in the United States.
