Where was tin discovered?

No one is completely sure about the specific time or location of the discovery of tin because it was discovered very long ago. Tools, weapons and figures made of metals including tin have been found and dated as far back as the year 3,000 B.C.
The oldest man-made objects known to contain tin are from the Bronze Age. Bronze is composed mostly of copper, but also has small amounts of tin in it. Many historians believe that tin was first extracted and used in manufacturing and trade in Great Britain and certain Spanish islands, where it can be found in abundance.
