Use antibacterial soap on your hands to prevent infections. Dry the finger on which the lens is placed to prevent it from sticking to your finger. Use the wrist on the other hand to dry it so that no foreign material is introduced into the eye. Keep both eyes open to prevent the targeted eye from closing.
