Who was the top college cross country runner in 2014?

The fastest cross country runner at the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championship was the University of Oregon's Edward Cheserek. The sophomore won the title with a time of 30 minutes, 19.4 seconds.

Oregon also featured the No. 2 finisher in senior Eric Jenkins, who completed the 10-kilometer course in 30 minutes, 23.2 seconds. Rounding out the top five were Northern Arizona's Futsum Zienasellassie (30:25.3), Stanford's Maxim Korolev (30:29.5) and Colorado's Ammar Moussa (30:29.6).

Colorado was the top Division I Men's cross country team in 2014. In winning the Terre Haute national event, its top four runners finished with a cumulative time of 2 hours, 33.08 seconds for a score of 65.
