The Toronto Stock Exchange lists stocks in Canadian dollars. It is the largest stock exchange in Canada and is located on Bay Street in Toronto, according to Investopedia.
The TMX Group runs the Toronto Stock Exchange, which goes by TSX. Stocks on this exchange fall into one of the seven sectors: technology, clean technology, mining, energy, life sciences, real estate, and diversified industries. Investors can also invest in over 300 exchange-traded funds, over 200 closed-end funds, and four structured notes on this exchange, says the Toronto Stock Exchange. The trading hours on this exchange are from 9:30 a.m to 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
