Senna, the laxative in Trim-Maxx tea, appears in the tea's ingredients under the name locust plant. Drinking tea containing senna causes dehydration and, if used for several weeks, can result in colon problems. Dieters are also likely to regain the weight they have lost once they stop ingesting the tea.
