A television brand rating is a quality level designated to TV based on a predefined set of standards that serve as indicators for factors such as quality, performance and price. Ratings are further segregated based on TV types, technology, resolution and additional features.
TV brand ratings may be based on individual features, the TV as a whole or in comparison to other similar TVs. Picture clarity, rendering, aspect ratio and screen size are some features that define a TV's rating. Some TV brands enjoy a higher rating because of their brand value in addition to features. Wireless compatibility, streaming, sound quality and cost for features adds to a TVs rating.
