The Hub Network was a family network resulting from a collaboration between the Discovery Channel and Hasbro. The goal was to create new TV shows for kids based on Hasbro’s most popular toys.
The Hub Network featured original series such as "Transformers Prime," "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic," "The Adventures of Chuck and Friends," "Dan Vs.," "Family Game Night," and "G.I. Joe Renegades." Discovery decided to take over and change the show line up as well as the name. The new line up added more educational family shows at night while featuring the Hasbro-themed shows during the day. The Hub Network officially became Discovery Family Channel on October 13th, 2014.
